Besonderheiten: Maximum weight is 300 lbs. Please be prepared to spend several hours out in the elements. Weather can change drastically and quickly in Denali so please bring an extra layer and a raincoat. Sturdy shoes are recommended. While not strenuous, there is some walking on variable terrain. This trip is suitable for all experience levels. Bring water and a light snack, and don’t forget your camera, lenses, and extra battery!
Ich finde, dass die Beschreibung recht gut verständlich ist auch wenn in englisch. Falls doch Übersetzung gewünscht, müsst ihr es sagen.
Auf jeden Fall war ich 20min zu zeitig da und musste erstmal warten bis jemand von den Teilnehmern bzw. die Kursleiterin kam. Nervös war ich etwas, immerhin mein erstes was ich allein machen wollte und das komplett in Englisch. Aber es ging gut. Wir waren 4 Kursteilnehmer. 2 Männer aus den Staaten, 1 Mann von Australien und halt ich.
Als erstes mussten wir uns erstmal vorstellen und erzählen welche fotoerfahrung, welche Kamera und was wir vom Kurs erwarten. Dabei fuhren wir bereits zum ersten Spot um die weite, die Berge und den Himmel zu fotografieren. Hier ging es vorallem darum eine belichtungsreihe zu erstellen. Da ich das lange nicht genutzt hatte, ließ ich mir das zeigen.
Ansonsten fand ich es schon ziemlich cool, dass ich zum Anfang der Meinung war das ich nur von Profis umgeben bin, welche seit 20 Jahren fotografieren. Allerdings war ich die einzigste welche im manuellen Modus arbeitete und die anderen nutzen diesen nicht.
Wir fuhren dann von einen zum nächsten Spot. Immer wieder neue und schöne Landschaft. Zwischendurch regnete es auch. Aber das betraf nur 2 Spots. Ansonsten recht schönes Wetter. Als wir auf dem Rückweg waren, dann noch ein toller Sonnenuntergang so dass wir auf jeden Fall noch stoppen mussten. Dabei dann auch ein Teil des Regenbogens oder flares.
Die Themen im Auto waren natürlich welche Programme nutzt man. Wir waren uns da ziemlich einig das lightroom und Photoshop das beste ist. Ausserdem sollte man zur Bildschirmkallibrierung spyder verwenden. Ähm. Tue ich.
Also der Workshop brachte nicht wirklich was neues, aber er hat sich allein wegen der coolen Spots gelohnt und das ich meinen Mund aufmache und mehr spreche. ?
